I’m a creative communications pro with expertise in copy writing and content strategy and a strong background in public relations, journalism, and project management. Prior to joining the RAND Corporation as manager, Internal Communications, I helped nonprofits and startups create and implement communications strategies that were imaginative, innovative, and effective.
Deadlines are my love language and I’m as passionate about process as I am about product. As a former college English instructor, I know all about “the rules.” I also know when to break them. I’m the proud owner of a stack of style books, but I’m not a jerk about it.
Experience
My writing has appeared in The Hollywood Reporter, E! Online, Eliza Magazine, and Salt Lake Magazine. My ghostwriting has appeared in The Huffington Post and the African-American Observer. I've written for charities, thought leaders, business titans, and even Hollywood legends, such as Hugh Jackman, Judith Light, and Danny DeVito. I also helped coordinate public relations for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
